NYS Licensed Cosmetologist
Job Description
Wellness Centered is a growing integrative wellness and spa destination offering a full spectrum of services including massage therapy, facials, body treatments, red light therapy, and more. As part of our newly expanded spa space, we’re excited to welcome a talented and compassionate NYS Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team and provide exceptional nail care services in a peaceful, professional setting.
Key Responsiblities

- Perform high-quality manicures and pedicures, including basic and spa-level treatments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation according to NYS cosmetology and spa standards
- Build lasting relationships with clients by offering personalized service and wellness-focused care
- Keep accurate records of services performed
- Recommend nail care products or enhancements as appropriate
- Collaborate with our team to promote specials, events, and wellness packages
Qualifications
- Current New York State Cosmetology License
- Experience with manicures and pedicures; gel and spa treatments a plus
- A friendly, professional demeanor and passion for client care
- Strong hygiene and sanitation practices
- Team-oriented and reliable
- Availability for part-time or full-time shifts, including weekends if needed
Hours
Part-time or full-time. Looking for an individual with flexible hours, including a few evenings and Saturdays.
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massage services in a serene and professional environment. The Massage Therapist will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall wellness of our clients through effective pain management and relaxation techniques.
Key Responsiblities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
- Utilize various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to provide informed care.
- Deliver high-quality therapeutic massages tailored to each client's specific requirements.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns with professionalism.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in client conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active LMT license in New York State.
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in pain management and various massage techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is advantageous but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
Hours
We are looking for full-time or part-time. Opportunity to travel to the Deposit location. Flexible schedule but high demand for evening and weekend appointments.
