Nurse practitioner
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team. This role involves providing patient-centered care, promoting wellness, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsiblities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless, holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support wellness initiatives, including patient education classes or workshops.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York State
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or relevant specialty.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for preventive care and promoting patient wellness.
- Previous experience in primary care or a related field is preferred.
Hours
We are looking to fill a part-time (24 hours a week) position with flexible hours.
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massage services in a serene and professional environment. The Massage Therapist will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall wellness of our clients through effective pain management and relaxation techniques.
Key Responsiblities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
- Utilize various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to provide informed care.
- Deliver high-quality therapeutic massages tailored to each client's specific requirements.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns with professionalism.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in client conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active LMT license in New York State.
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in pain management and various massage techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is advantageous but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
Hours
We are looking for full-time or part-time, available weekends and evenings.
