Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Description
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Medical Weight Loss and IV Wellness Programs. This role is ideal for an LPN who is passionate about patient care, wellness, and helping individuals achieve their health goals. The primary responsibilities will include administering weight loss injections, conducting patient check-ins, providing encouragement and support, and administering vitamin injections. The LPN may also be cross-trained to assist in primary care as needed.
Key Responsiblities
- Administer weight loss injections per provider guidelines.
- Conduct patient check-ins, track progress, and provide motivation and education.
- Monitor for potential side effects and report concerns to the provider.
- Support patient adherence to weight loss protocols through encouragement and guidance.
General Clinical Support (as needed):
- Assist in basic primary care services if cross-trained.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow all medical protocols, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New York State.
- Experience in administering injections.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a wellness-focused environment.
- Passion for holistic health and patient wellness is a plus.
Hours
This position starts as part-time and can grow into full-time as patient load expands. Looking for an individual with flexible hours, including a few evenings and Saturdays.
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massage services in a serene and professional environment. The Massage Therapist will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall wellness of our clients through effective pain management and relaxation techniques.
Key Responsiblities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
- Utilize various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to provide informed care.
- Deliver high-quality therapeutic massages tailored to each client's specific requirements.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns with professionalism.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in client conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active LMT license in New York State.
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in pain management and various massage techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is advantageous but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
Hours
We are looking for full-time or part-time. Opportunity to travel to the Deposit location. Flexible schedule but high demand for evening and weekend appointments.
